About the Service

Our Safeguarding and Child Protection training equips early years practitioners with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to keep children safe.

The training focuses on statutory requirements and real-life practice, guiding staff through the 5 R’s of safeguarding – Recognise, Respond, Record, Report, and Refer ­- so they can identify concerns early and take appropriate action quickly and effectively.

Focus of the Training

Training covers key safeguarding areas, including:

  • Recognising signs of abuse and neglect
  • Reporting and recording concerns
  • Safe recruitment and staff responsibilities
  • Online safety and social media guidance
  • Creating a safe learning environment

Sessions are aligned with statutory guidance and Ofsted expectations.
